Personally on just a side note, and usually goes without saying, whether it be a high end club or restaurant always have your back to the corner. Proves effective on multiple levels. First you not going to miss a look from any of the models walking through the scene. Secondly, having the entire spot in front of you protects you from "a hit" the may be approaching. I think you eluded to this on your choice "spot" when setting up shot at the bar or VIP lounge.
