C Dilla,
MPM is rite the book is for younger G's and if you have a vested interest in not helping others than what competition is there. What competition is there if these folks really are "soft, feeble-minded, and attention-deficient".
You do what you have to, to get by. I myself am not a business owner or established but I am more apart of the underground economy.
And as far as the English language I can write in what we call "English" here in the US and I can be published by Oxford University in London. I know how to use it believe me but there is a time and a place and I dont think I need to write formally in a blog, all I need is to express my ideas and from what I read you understand them fine.

MPM,
Thanks because you understand how it is to be a young G, upcoming not yet known, struggling. I can see that you have a passion for spreading your knowledge that is what turned me on to your site.
It gives hope to a lot of us who are plowing are way through life. Going to school for that degree by day, dealing with a harsh reality at nite, and trying to find that one swoop that'll change your life. Thanks

C-dilla,

I see your point and agree with it. Especially this part:

"Nobody but friends and family have any idea who I am, and I’m going to die on a pile of money and accomplishments that I created from hard work. Whoring out your privacy is for no-talent suckas…. let the young G’s work on their personal brands, I will work on my work…"

I do think Vaynerchuk has some great lessons for the younger G's who are getting started.

I learned along time ago not to fight technology. Hell, I was probably the last person who ever bought a cell phone.

The world is changing, whether we like it or not.

@MIND/matter: You know what I can respect? A decent grasp on the English language.
Doesn't matter, I have a vested interest in helping create a generation of workers who can't spell without auto-complete, think in 140-character tweets and freely broadcast every detail of their insignificant lives - capitalism is competition, and I like my competition soft, feeble-minded, and attention-deficient.
Keep with the flash, keep with the form, and keep working on that personal branding, by all means ... makes life a lot easier for the rest of us...

you know we live in an age where anybody can be who they want like MPM said. How do u distinguish urself on the scene? with flash with form. hard work only slows you down thats not how ur gonna break through and get established. once ur established than u can transform ur hustle from the flash and glitz over to the real deal and decide if that works for u. dont knock the people that are sharing the knowledge.
write a book and let me critique you. than we can talk. prove to me that ur way is better and really try to pass the hustle of hard work on to younger G's thats what'll make a difference and thats what i can respect

Have you ever seen this squeaky little weasel speak? Go look at some video and really tell me you get a good feeling from this guy.
The really sad thing about Vaynerchuk is not that he's promoting form over function, and flash over substance by crafting your "personal brand" online through "social media" instead of working for a living by making a useful product or performing a useful service.
The sad thing is that this garbage was hot shit 3 years ago on the technology/media lecture circuit, and this unfortunate little rodent is still selling the kool-aid. We really don't need any more gasbag "personal branding" consultants here in the US, we need more people performing actual work. This is not a remarkable time, it's the end times. You know what my "personal brand" is? Nobody but friends and family have any idea who I am, and I'm going to die on a pile of money and accomplishments that I created from hard work. Whoring out your privacy is for no-talent suckas.... let the young G's work on their personal brands, I will work on my work...
