Mad good videos. Mayorga is an unbelievable brawler with knockout power in both hands. His overhand right is vicious. His smacktalk pretty damn good as well. I love the way he gets in his opponents head.
But if he ever fought din thomas in MMA, he would probably get choked out. These boxing guys see the little gloves and think ‘well i’ll definately knock him out’ but what they don’t realize is that MMA has many more dimensions than jsut boxing, and that boxing is just part of the skillset one needs to compete at the highest level. Mayorga is a beast, he should stick to the ring, and stay out of the octogon.
The simon black article is nice too, the cat knows his ish. I thought he made some really good points about the ‘war on drugs’ and how pointless it really is.
plus hes got that whole international playboy thing going, but in a non-braggart type way. You can tell the guy swoops mad girls, but he doesnt brag about it. You have to read between the lines.

This vid is sort of wack, considering a large portion of it is him talking shit to De la Hoya, who beat Mayorga in that match.

I’m not a fan of boxing, perhaps never will be, but that “Ricardo Mayorga trash talking highlights” video is hilarious. It feels like a mad pit bull keep barking. and/or delinquents going at each other. So that’s what goes on in Latin America….lol. hmmm, interesting.
