Yeah Ortiz got what he deserved as far as I am concerned. Honestly if I was in Mayweather’s place I’d have done it after the first headbutt.
I have a question for you Michael. On youtube the other day, the Boxingbelle wanted to know what we thought the outcome of Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Sugar Ray Leonard would be. I’m not much for that fantasy fight stuff normally because its not gonna happen so why waste time thinking about it?
But this was an irresistible matchup and I had to weigh in. I mean Sugar Ray’s dazzling offense vs Floyd’s extraordinary defense? You can’t help but wonder what would happen if both men locked it up at the top of their game!
Anyway, I chose Sugar Ray Leonard. My reasoning is that the fight would pretty much be a draw because neither man would knock the other out or dominate the fight. That means the judges and lets be honest, Sugar Ray had a style and flair the judges LOVED. It won him atleast two fights he should have lost (The Hagler fight and the second Hearns fight)
I’d like to know your thoughst on the matchup.
