The First Two Things I Do When I Get To A New City

Whenever I arrive in a new city to chop up and swoop fly girls, I do two things first:

1. Lockdown A Bartender

When I first arrive in a new city, I like to set up a Base of Operations. And what better place for a Base, than a bar. Or even better, a restaurant bar.

I always lockdown a bartender first. This way, I know I can set up shop and get my drinks quick. I can gather some intel on the city as well. Grease well.

2. Lockdown a Driver

The second thing I will do is Lockdown a driver. Limo, town car or cab.

This way, I don’t have to mess around with directions, parking, DUI’s etc.

And I can focus on what I need to do.

And when I say “what I need to do”, I mean swoop fly girls.

Great post. I travel alot as well, am currently in Denver where I have no connections or guides. Do you have any advice for deciphering the dope lounges, clubs and neighborhoods? Or should I continue the grassroots approach and drill bartenders and hot babes? I’ve tried yelp and other websites but their intell is always suspect.

    Pont,

Yeah, yelp and those sites are suspect. They are really only good for phone numbers, addresses and hours of operation.

The reviews are near useless unless you really read between the lines.

The only source of real legit info on the internet that I have found is The G Manifesto.

That is half the reason I take the time to write up such detailed Data Sheets, so when I return, I have all the dope spots in one place.

Really, beyond The G Manifesto, the internet comes up dueces.

This is a really helpful post. However, I wish you would write a manifesto on locking down drivers – G protocol, perhaps? This is something that always goes over my head and I’m going to need to get the hang of it soon. What you wrote on locking down a Base of Operations is spot on.
